Seek to Connect Virtually
As everyone wrestles with the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, God is calling each of us to keep our lines of communication open with Him. Our First West family is making a conscious decision to put our faith in God, use great common sense and continue to find relational ways to encourage one another.
Our commitment is to pray for people affected by this virus and for people who are suffering, hurting and in need. Although we may not be meeting at the church over the next few weeks, we must remember the church is not the building. God has not called a building—He has called us. We are the church—and we will continue to build relationships.
What faith teaches us is that community is really important! So how do you create an experience to gather without putting people at risk? At First West, we will be using a few key online components to feed you spiritually! Our First West family still needs a time to pray together, to hear scripture together, and to encourage one another with God’s love. Thankfully, we have technology in place to meet these needs.
